Jane F. Shearer School of Nursing

 

Suffolk County Community College is honored to announce the newly named Jane F. Shearer School of Nursing. The nursing school is being named in memory of the college’s dear colleague, whose tenure lasted 30 years before her untimely passing from cancer in 2019 while she served as the Eastern Campus Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. 

Jane’s family is committed to continuing her legacy by supporting nursing students as they develop into leaders who help individuals, families, and communities at local, national, and international healthcare settings.
