AAECF VIRTUAL JUNEETEENTH BENEFIT FESTIVAL

WHAT: The African American Educational and Cultural Festival will Honor “Juneteenth” in a Virtual Festival. June 19th has been marked as a Day of celebration, and we will be celebrating ALL WEEKEND LONG
WHO: Juneteenth is a Historical event in honor of one of the final acts of emancipation of U.S. Slaves on June 19, 1865. This marks the day the abolition of slavery was announced in Texas, the last place to free its slaves.

We will celebrate this time of remembrance, with a Weekend in a Virtual type Festivities that will include, music, educational skits, film, comedy, dance, discussions, workshops and more. Major Sponsors include ‘Encore Global’ (formerly PSAV), Verizon, Peoples United Bank, Montauk Daisy, Scrambul, Inc, and A&M Electrical Contractor, ltd. Performances by the ‘Earth Wind and Fire Tribute Band’, Actor & Recording Artist 'Leon Robinson & the Peoples’ Reggae Band (Spectra Music Group), Reggae Artist ‘Winston Ire’, Gospel Recording Artist & Pastor Bettina Pennon will host a ‘Gospel Experience’, children of all ages will express what Juneteenth means to them, and much, much more!
