The Suffolk County Community College and the Faculty Association are thrilled to announce a major event happening on Monday, June 10, in the Shea Theater at our Ammerman Campus that is open to local educators and students—a symposium called “Equity in Education: Shifting the Narrative” that will feature the following speakers:

• Suffolk County Community College President Edward Bonahue
• American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten
• SUNY Senior Vice Chancellor of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer Ricardo Nazario y Colón
• New York State United Teachers President Melinda Person
