A message to the Grant Campus Community

In support of the Trust for Public Land, please see the invitation below:

Trust for Public Land will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open our new Long Island Greenway rain garden on Saturday, June 29 at 10am. We developed this space with project partners ReWild Long Island, NYS Parks, and NYS DEC off the eventual route at the perimeter of Edgewood Preserve to mitigate flooding and reintroduce native plants. We hope it will be the first of many green off-shoots of the trail.

Please join us along for this event and share the invitation with family, friends, and neighbors. Your attendance if you are available and your help spreading the word will help make it a great event. It will be a perfect opportunity to introduce the entire trail plan to more Long Islanders, build and demonstrate community excitement, and celebrate an early success greening the region with coffee and breakfast.
