Dear Friends and Colleagues of Distinction,

Tonight in honor of our African American Ancestors, the members of the Suffolk County African American Advisory Board will be holding a synchronized candlelight vigil that we hope you will join us on across the county.  

I am enclosing the YouTube link below so that we all can light our candles together at 7:30 PM.  

I urge everyone at the close of the enclosed recitation to say the following:

“We the members of the family celebrate and honor those African Americans on whose shoulders we stand, who pioneered before us in the ongoing and continuous fight for freedom  We are all in this love together.”
