CIRCUMSTANCES DON’T Define Us
A portrait of courage in the face of great adversity...
Lieutenant Colonel Greg Gadson has survived the very worst of war, but this highly decorated American soldier has not been defeated by unfortunate circumstance. His
biggest challenge happened in Iraq in an IED attack, for anyone else, this might have been a defining moment, but he refused to be defined by the proverbial “hail of
bullets.”
The Suffolk County Community College Presidential Lecture Series is an annual forum
meant to engage the college community in meaningful conversations that can inspire each of us to bring about positive change in our communities. It also provides the College with an opportunity to meet its mission-related strategic goal of enhancing community enrichment through increased participation in social and cultural events, initiatives, and activities conducted by the College or in partnership with external stakeholders.
